I did one of her recipes today and it tasted magnificent, but...it does not look anything like hers. I'm no Pioneer Woman. For example...My maxi pad bread...OH MY! I'm no pro in the kitchen, I'm still learning. But, like I said, the bread tasted great...no fantastic!! :o) Little Man loved it too...which is a good sign. He's the pickiest eater.
You can get the recipe here.
Here's mine...*lol* I obviously needed to roll it tighter, but the deeper we cut into it, the more it looked like hers...I SWEAR! ;o)
And here's her perfection!
Here's another couple of my favorites.
Did I mention she's a great photographer too? And she has her own cookbook!? This woman is my hero. Anyway...because Me and Monica love you guys so much we are gonna do our first giveaway. And it's of course Ree's cookbook. One of my favorite .

ReplyDeleteFood you have shown looks delicious. You girls have a lot of talent to share. One day you might have to open a small diner in the big city of Malad.
ReplyDeleteI've seen that cookbook and I want one! Erica, I also want some bread and some muffins. :) I want to try your dilly beans, but I'm a little worried about mine so I'm not sure if you want to trade until I've tasted my product! Monica, I miss you dearly. I love you both so very much. Be happy your brother isn't blogging about killing skunks, catching mice and trapping pack rats. It could ruin the yumminess...... "try these wonderful german chocolate cupcakes and next on the list... look at all the floating dead mice I caught ha ha" I posted for all to share on Facebook! xx
